John and Bev Wasserman were born and raised in Rhodesia now Zimbabwe. They were actively involved in their home church. With the call of God burning in their hearts they attended Elim Bible College in the U.K. for training. In late 1984, God supernaturally called them to Bonaero Park, and by the 1st of January 1985 John and Bev were introduced as pastors.

The  church has experienced steady growth. In 1993 God spoke clearly calling pastor John to be part of the revival in the United Kingdom and build a bridge back to South Africa. Since then the ministry has expanded to England, Ireland, Wales, Zimbabwe, Armenia, Egypt and Holland with invitations to many more countries.
