MULTICHOICE DECODERS

Tuning your Multichoice Decoders into the Public Bouquet:

Step#1

On your Mulitchoice Decoder, go to Channel 99 and follow the simple instruction on the TV screen to verify if you can upgrade your software. N.B.:Older decoders that do NOT upgrade will Not be able to receive Public PAS7/10

(Multichoice Decoders from model 660 and up will pick up the channel).

Step#2

On your REMOTE CONTROL press the MENU button. Press 6 for ADVANCED OPTIONS.

Press 1 for DISH INSTALLATIONS.

Enter PIN CODE 9499

Press 2 for NETWORK CONFIGURATION

Press 3 for Newtwork 2 SETUP. (If 2 is greyed out, use NETWORK 3 SETUP)

On SIGNAL UP press OK to highlight DISABLED

Press`Right’ arrow(>) to change to ENABLED and press OK.

Make sure #2 ORBITAL POSITION is PAS7/10.

Press 4 for FREQUENCY (You may need to press OK before the next step)

Press`Left Arrow’ button (<) 5 times

Enter 12722 and press OK to save.

Press 5 for SYMBOL RATE (You may need to press OK before the next step).

Press`Left Arrow’ button (<) 5 times

Enter 26657 and press OK to save.

Make sure#6 ‘POLARISATION’ is VERTICAL

Press 7 for FEC (You may need t op press OK before the next step)

Press ‘Left Arrow’ (<) 3 times until it reads

Press OK button to save.

Press 8 to VIEW SIGNAL STRENGH, than press OK button to save.

When saved, press EXIT-ONE times only.

Press 3 to SCAN NEW NETWORKS (If 3 is greyed out, press 4)

After scanning process is complete, receiver may go to channel 1

Go to CHANNEL 4 which should be MOIVE MAGIC.

To watch the Public Bouquet:

1) On your remote control, press the TV button.

2) Press the ‘Up Arrow’ ( ) button on your remote.

3) Find and select PUBLIC PAS7/10 and press OK

4) Press the P+ button on your REMOTE until you find the desired channel.

For DSTV press the TV button on your remote and select DSTV
